The Primary Sport Giants company has been developed from experience gained establishing one of the country’s most successful School Sports Partnerships. With over ten years of PE teaching and sports development a rich programme of services on offer can be found below.
Teacher development lesson support
This is a key area for use of the PE and Sports premium funding as it focuses on sustainable development, up skilling of teachers and increasing the performance levels of pupils.

Big green giant
Healthy lifestyle Parent and Pupil programmes aimed at promoting Change4Life values of healthy eating and active lifestyles aimed at the following:
Big Green Giants Families: A six week programme delivered to parents and children focusing on areas such as; fussy eating, under/over eating, inactivity, confidence and food selection.
Big Green Giants Pupils: A six week programme delivered to pupils focusing on areas such as; sugar, Eatwell guide, habits, activity, food selection, food labelling, healthy teeth.
After school clubs
With a strong focus on leadership, fun, introduction of new sports and sustainability. We aim to incorporate pupil leadership and secondary school links to develop a sustainable practice such as introduction of new sports and sports competitions in line with the PE and sport premium funding.

Breakfast school clubs
With new funding soon to be announced we offer continued activity time and a healthy education programme during breakfast clubs. We also offer extended sports clubs for the less active pupils which is a key focus for the PE and sports premium funding.
Holiday camps / clubs
We offer very diverse sports and outdoor adventurous holiday camps throughout the year based in Canterbury and surrounding areas.
Key focuses are on:
All inclusive fun activities
Skills for Life and outdoor adventurous activities, participants will experience bush craft, leadership, planning, navigation, and many more skills required for later life scenarios
Elite high performance training (Many of our coaches play at an elite level so have a wealth of knowledge and experience of what is required to perform at an international level)
We are able to plan and deliver holiday clubs at all primary schools to support activity for less active pupils. This is another key focus for the PE and Sport premium funding.
